The Research and Development Institute in Genomics is a partner in ROGEN – the National Genomics Network, a project bringing together 20 institutions from across Romania around a common noble goal: building Romania’s first National Reference Genome.
🧬 What does having a national genome mean? It means Romania will have a national platform through which the population’s genomic data can be analysed and used for the benefit of public health – for more accurate diagnoses, personalised treatments and cutting-edge medical research. An essential step towards the medicine of the future, being built right now, in Romania. 🇷🇴
Alongside us in this mission are national institutes, medical universities from Bucharest, Cluj, Craiova, Iași, Timișoara, Târgu Mureș, Sibiu, Brașov, Constanța and Oradea, and private-sector partners – all united around the same goal: the medicine of the future.
