Dr. Mircea Crețu has been selected and invited to participate in the Korea-EU Research (KERC) academic networking event in Brussels, 1-3 July 2025, representing the Institute for Research Development in Genomics.
The event brought together 36 researchers from Korea and EU Member States to identify synergies, foster collaborations and build consortia eligible for funding through joint Korea-EU programs.
The format was dynamic and innovative: each participant succinctly presented the research interests of their group as well as the strategic directions of the institution they represented. The networking sessions between the presentations provided an open and friendly setting, which encouraged the exchange of ideas, research experiences and successful examples of technology transfer. These were the first contacts for future international collaborations with long-term development potential
