The CGDI team sends its sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of Professor Laurențiu Camil Bohîlțea. We are deeply grateful for his support and involvement as a member of the Board of Trustees in the development of our Institute.
Professor Bohîlțea, head of the Department of Medical Genetics at UMF "Carol Davila", had an essential role in the establishment in Romania of the specialty "Medical Genetics", marking the evolution of this discipline through professionalism and integrity and training generations of specialists.
His memory lives on in our professional community.
