


Prof. PhD Maria Puiu, Deputy Director General of the Institute for Research-Development in Genomics (ICDG), represented the Institute as a speaker at the CCIFER Expert Days: Innovation and Franco-Romanian collaboration in the field of health, held on Monday, October 27, 2025, in Bucharest.
Together with health leaders such as Alexandru Rogobete - Minister of Health, Carmen Orban - Senator, Health Commission, Oana Belinski - Country Lead Ipsen, Jan-Frederick Kesselhut - General Manager Servier Romania and Cristina Pricop - Corporate Affairs Lead Sanofi Romania, Prof. Dr. Maria Puiu brought to the forefront the strategic role of genomics in the transformation of the health system and the importance of public-private partnerships for access to innovative treatments.
The CGDI's participation in this event reinforces the Institute's position as a promoter of genomic medicine and applied research for the benefit of patients and evidence-based public policy.
